Apple music will cost £9.99 in UK, €9.99 in the rest of Europe

Apple music will cost £9.99 in UK, €9.99 in the rest of Europe

At Apple’s WWDC last week, the company unveiled its new music streaming service, Apple Music. It launches June 30 at $9.99 per month in the US, but Apple hasn’t unveiled the pricing for the UK and the rest of Europe. iDownloadBlog has recently received some information from a iOS 8.4 beta showing the pricing for Apple Music, as it looks the service will be the same number value, but here in the UK the actual monetary value will be more.

In the US, users will be paying $9.99, in the UK £9.99 and the rest of Europe will be €9.99. For the family plans, it will be $14.99, £14.99 and €14.99. With tax taken care of for the UK pricing, it actually means that the UK are paying slightly more for the service.

Apple Music has more issues in the UK than the pricing, we recently learnt that a number independent labels in the UK won’t be signing the contract for Apple Music.

Apple Music will be launching later this month on June 30 for iPhone, iPod touch, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac and PC via iTunes and Android.
