Apple releases macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update

This past week, Apple has launched a lot of new software – last week on Saturday we saw iOS 11.2 which brought Apple Pay Cash, for US users as well as a host of new bug fixes. Earlier this week, watchOS 4.2 was released which also included Apple Pay Cash as well as some bug fixes for Siri.

Now, today Apple has seeded an update for the Mac and macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 has been in testing for around a month now and this is now the second update for High Sierra. 10.13.2 only includes a few fixes, notably for certain USB audio devices.

Release Notes

The macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update improves the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users.

This update:

  • Improves compatibility with certain third-party USB audio devices

  • Improves VoiceOver navigation when viewing PDF documents in Preview

  • Improves compatibility of Braille displays with Mail

Updating

Updating the software on a Mac can be done via the Mac App Store, then under the Updates tab. But if you have auto updates enabled, your machine will simply download the update in the background then it’ll prompt you if you need to restart to complete.
