Apple releases tvOS 14.2 for Apple TV HD and 4K

Yesterday, along with iOS 14.2 – Apple also released a minor update for the Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K with tvOS 14.2.

Apple rarely provides release notes for tvOS updates but this release seems to offer support for pairing the Apple TV to a HomePod.

How to update

Apple TVs do update automatically, but you can do it manually by going Settings > System > Software Update.
