Apple releases update for new Apple TV Siri Remote

Apple releases update for new Apple TV Siri Remote

Apple has recently released a new minor software update for the latest version of the Apple TV Siri Remote. Apple debuted the redesigned remote back in May 2021 alongside the latest generation of Apple TV 4K.

The software update goes from version 9M6772 to 10M1103 and is only applicable for the remote pictured above. In the Apple TV operating system, the firmware will jump from version 0x0061 to 0x0070.

The process for updating the remote is similar to that of AirPods. It is not possible to do manually, but it’ll happen automatically at some stage. There is also not any included releases notes, so the changes made are not known either.
