Apple TV fourth generation renamed to ‘Apple TV HD’ following this weeks event

Following on from this weeks Apple event, the company has decided to rename the existing and nearly 4 year old Apple TV fourth generation to ‘Apple TV HD’ which does fit much better along side the Apple TV+ service and the Apple TV 4K model.

The fourth generation model was just simply called ‘Apple TV’ before this week and looking at it, sitting next to the new Apple TV+ service may have offered up some minor confusion.

Apple TV HD is the same price as before, only available in 32GB for £149. The current Apple TV 4K remains on sale on apple.com for £179 / £199 for 32GB and 64GB respectively.
