This week, Apple has revealed that iOS 16.3 will be released next week, with an exact date not confirmed. The update will bring support for security keys for Apple IDs, redesign the HomePod Handoff prompt UI all well as some minor changes to the wording for Emergency SOS. The update will be a requirement of the upcoming HomePod second-generation and we can also expect to see iPadOS 16.3, watchOS 9.3, tvOS 16.3 and macOS 13.2 at the same time.
