BMW announces new all electric 3 Series, but only for China

BMW has today revealed the all new BMW i3 eDrive35L, which is an all electric 3 series. The car will only be available in China and will go on sale over there in May 2022.

The BMW i3 eDrive35L will share the same technology and powertrain as the BMW iX3, BMW i4 and BMW iX. The new 3 series will also ship with the new OS8 operating system which also includes the ability to have the car key on your smartphone, with ‘Digital Key’.

BMW also revealed some information on the power output and range, the BMW i3 eDrive35L has 281bhp, 295lb ft of torque and 0-60mph is handled in 6.2 seconds. Range is 327 miles.
