Cutting to the chase, the Car-Net for the Apple Watch is just a condensed version of the app for the iPhone, but the Watch is designed to have quick response actions on your wrist, so things like being able to quickly unlock and lock the car, checking to see if any windows or the sunroof were left open could be very useful.

Also, as mentioned users also have the ability to check on the fuel or battery levels of their car. The Car-Net app works with the 2014 Beetle, CC, Eos, Jetta, Passat and the Tiguan. It also works with the 2015 edition of the Golf, Golf GTI, Golf R, Golf SportWagen and all of the e-Golf models.
