Firefly to launch in Norway and the Netherlands

Firefly EV

Firefly only launched its first car in China a few days ago, at the Shanghai Motor Show, but the brand is already expanding overseas.

The car is already listed on the Norwegian and Dutch websites, with a price starting at 279,000 NOK in Norway, which works out to be just over £20,000 when converted. This is more than the £12,700 equivalent the car sells for in China, but still very affordable at the same time.

For the battery, it comes with a 42.1kWh LFP unit and has a CLTC rated range of 420km. The company is yet to reveal the WLTP range.

The Firefly is due to launch in Norway later this year and will be sold from the Nio House Oslo and Nio Space Bergen. Initial test drives will start this summer and customers should receive their cars in the autumn.
