Dacia Spring EV now £500 cheaper in the UK

For a limited time, Dacia UK is reducing the price of the Spring by £500, meaning the little cheap and cheerful EV now costs £14,495, down from the usual £14,995. After being announced in Februarty and going on sale earlier this year in June, the Spring is due to start being delivered to customers as early as October.

This deal is called 'Electric Boost' and won't be around for ever, however. Dacia will be putting prices back up again at the end of September.

The Spring is the cheapest electric car on sale in the UK. It offers up to 186 miles WLTP when used in an urban setting and 140 miles, based on the mixed WLTP cycle. The battery is small, at 26.8kWh and supports 7kW AC. Both versions of the Spring support DC charging, but only at 33kW or 48kW, depending on the battery specced.
