Google Pay now works on the web too

Google Pay now works on the web too

Earlier this year, in January Google rebranded Android Pay to become Google Pay which made more sense, as Google is slowly removing the Android brand from a few things. While Google Pay is available on Android phones to use for in-store payments, much like how Apple Pay works it hasn’t been available on the web.

Starting today, Google Pay will now be available online, much like how the ‘Pay with Google’ system works and it doesn’t require any specific browsers, it can be used anywhere and in any browser – like PayPal.
