HomePod update now out, version 14.2.1

This week, Apple released a minor update for the HomePod and HomePod mini with version 14.2.1, which so far Apple has said offers “general performance and stability improvements.”

The update is out as of Monday and should automatically update on the HomePods, otherwise it can be updated via the Home app on iOS, iPadOS and macOS.
