After releasing the new iPad 10th generation and updated iPad Pro yesterday, Apple also revised the pricing of the iPad mini 6th generation in markets outside of the US, including many parts of the EU and the UK. The new 10th generation model was updated with USB-C, removal of the home button and new landscape FaceTime camera.

Here in the UK for example, the iPad mini 6 used to cost £479 for the base 64GB model and it is now £569, then for the 256GB model it is now £749, which used to be £619. At the top of the lineup, the iPad mini 6 256GB with cellular is now £929, up from £759 – a jump of £170. These new price increases mean that in the UK at least, the iPad mini 6 is now more expensive than the new iPad 10th generation.

Despite the inflation costs in the UK and increased cost of living, the price rise isn’t just here it is apparent in the EU, India and Australia too. In Italy, the iPad mini 6 has had a price increase of 18%, jumping from €559 for the 64GB model to €659 and for 256GB, it has gone from €729 to €859.

So far, Apple hasn’t said anything about the price increases, but they aren’t affecting the US – where prices remain the same.
