Over two billion people now use WhatsApp

Just today, Facebook owned WhatsApp has now passed the two billion user mark, something Facebook only achieved in 2017.

“We are excited to share that, as of today, WhatsApp supports more than two billion users around the world.”

Also in the blog post, the company touts its encryption efforts as WhatsApp has end-to-end encryption.
