Porsche Taycan now comes with larger 105kWh battery as standard

105kWh Porsche Taycan

Porsche refreshed the Taycan in 2024, but the company has more to come for its flagship EV. The most notable out of all of these changes is the fact that it now comes with a super large 105kWh battery as standard, up from the 89kWh that it used previously. This larger battery was optional beforehand, dubbed the ‘Performance Battery Plus’.

That larger battery boosts the range up by 50 miles, now offering a max 421 miles of range.

The base model now also comes with more technology as standard. Priced at £88,200 and Porsche has thrown in £8,000 worth of extras for no extra cost, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Change Assist, as well as new interior matrial options, that were previously reserved for the 4S.

Elsewhere the GTS and Turbo models now get Power Steering Plus as standard, something that was £8,500 before.
