Rack mountable version of the Apple Mac Pro now on available

Apple launched the new Mac Pro in December last year, which based on the max price the computer tops out did its best to make headlines in the media, which were mostly for the wrong reason. But when the Mac Pro was previewed at WWDC last year it was announced on stage that a special version fro making rack mounting the computer much easier, which is especially hands for Mac Stadium.

Even when the Mac Pro went on sale in December, the Rack version was left on the website as “coming soon” and now, it is on sale for £500 more than the standard tower version – at £5,999.

As far as the internals go, everything is unchanged, it has the same 8-core Intel Xeon, 32GB RAM and 256GB SSD as the tower version. The only difference being, you can’t pick the stainless steel wheels as an option.
