Samsung is adding six new fitness apps to its smart TVs

Starting today, Samsung is adding six new fitness apps to its variety of Smart TVs. These apps are Barre3, Calm, Echelon, Fitplan, Jillian Michaels Fitness App and Obé Fitness and Samsung has said later this year, these apps will be merged with Samsung Health.

This is good timing considering, during the pandemic everyone is forced to be at home so getting good exercise can be easier. However, the likleyhood on if your TV will get access to these apps depends on what year the TV was made, for example some apps need a TV from 2018 but Fitplan needs a 2019 model or later.

“As our community grapples with unprecedented disruptions to their daily routines, it is important for homebound consumers to have access to free high-quality health and wellness offerings.”
