Starlink adds new £8/month roaming plan in the UK

Starlink Dish

Starlink has added a new really cheap monthly roaming plan for customers in the UK. There are few things to consider, but when compared to its other plans, it does seem like a good option for the right kind of person.

In the UK, there are a few plans available. For static use, the Residential plan comes in at £75 per month and offers unlimited data. There is also the £50 per month plan called Roam and this offers 50GB of data per month. Roam can also be upgraded to have unlimited data for £96 per month.

However, this new plan is fairly well hidden. It won't show up to new customers, but only to those who have paused a Starlink plan in the past. It offers 20GB of data, at only £8 per month. Additional data costs £2.50 extra, per GB.

This new plan is likely ideal for people who have a Starlink and need a short term backup, or are only travelling for a few days. Roam supports use in motion and international travel. Starlink describes it as "for weekend travel or backup."
