Tesla’s can now detect and react to speed limit signs

Tesla’s have always been one of the most advanced cars on the market, in terms of electronics and on board assistance system and now the company is pushing further ahead with recent enhancements to the way Autopilot detects signs. Last week, Tesla starting releasing a new update which would allow any Tesla with Autopilot to detect and react to speed limit signs, using the onboard cameras. This is an improvement over the previous incarnation which would only use GPS data, which can be inaccurate in some places and Autopilot will now use both to get an idea on what the speed limit is.

Also new is a small update to traffic light detection, sometimes people day dream at the lights and miss when the lights have changed from to red to green, now the Tesla will be actively checking and will let out a small audible alert to let you know the lights have changed,
