The Google Nest Doorbell is struggling in the cold

Google has confirmed that the battery powered Nest Doorbell is having issues in some colder climates, after some users have been reporting problems on the Google Nest Support forums as well as Reddit. Google says that the Nest Doorbell should be able to operate at temperatures as low as 20°C, but it will only charge at temperatures above 0°C. This is where she users are seeing the problem, as it is now colder than 0°C in some areas.

Google has advised users to check the Google Home app for any relevant information, as it will tell you what state it is in, whether it be charging paused” or “charging slowly.”
