Elon Musk has said this week, that the relaunch of Twitter Blue verification would be coming back before the end of the month. When the new subscription was made available last week, the company pulled the ability to register after an influx of pranksters impersonating certain brands and well know celebrities.

Elon Musk has said that Twitter is preparing to relaunch Blue verified on 29th November and making sure it is rock solid.

It isn’t that clear that Twitter is going to change just yet when Blue verification launches again late this month, but Twitter has said that verified Twitter users will be unable to change their display name without losing their checkmark, until that change is confirmed by Twitter.

Twitter has also brought back the “Official” label for certain accounts run by official companies and media outlets. It is unclear if those accounts need to have a Blue subscription to keep the blue tick, as well as the grey checkmark.
