Ubiquiti announces new $99 UniFi Doorbell Lite

Ubiquiti UniFi Doorbell Lite

Ubiquiti has recently revealed the new entey level Doorbell Lite, for use with UniFi Protect. Unlike the other more premium doorbells that Ubiquiti offers, the Lite strips it back to basics, with a single camera, large button and an LED light for lighting up the area when someone gets close.

The new Doorbell Lite (UVC-Doorbell-W & UVC-Doorbell-B) comes in both black and white and is priced at $99 in the US and £94.80 in the UK.

It is powered by PoE only and doesn't have WiFi support, although it is possible that Ubiquiti could provide another model with this, although this is unconfirmed at this stage.

The camera is 5MP running at 24FPS, with a resolution of 1920 x 2560. It also supports smart detections for people, vehicles and animals. Two-way audio is also here, thanks to the integrated microphone.

Ubiquiti has it listed on its various worldwide stores, with a shipping date of Q4 2025.
