Ubiquiti announces new UniFi U6-Mesh AP

Ubiquiti has announced its new UniFi WiFi 6 Mesh AP, which shares the same form factor with the FlexHD AP – which Ubiquiti released a couple of years ago.

Like the FlexHD, the U6-Mesh can be mounted in a number of ways and locations thanks to its various accessories. It can be mounted on a wall inside or outside, in a dropped ceiling thanks to an additional accessory or even just sat on a desk.

In terms of specs, it seems very similar to the new U6-Pro with support for 160MHz channel widths, 4×4 MU-MIMO with OFDMA as well. As mentioned above, it can be used outdoors and is IPX5 rated.

The U6-Mesh is on sale direct from Ubiquiti for $179 in the US, €191.18 in the EU and £158.33 in the UK. However, in the UK it is marked as “coming soon.”
