Ubiquiti launches new Junction Utility box for UniFi Access and network switches

Ubiquiti has recently launched a new indoor and outdoor cabinet for various of its network switches and UniFi Door Access hubs. Ubiquiti says that it is compatible with the following products, but likely will work with many other similar sized devices.

  • UA-Hub-Gate
  • UA-Hub-Door-Mini
  • UA-Hub-Door
  • UA-SK-Elevator
  • USW-Flex
  • USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE
  • USW-Ultra
  • USW-Ultra-60W

The cabinet has an integrated wall mount arms, which look to be removalable should that be required. It can be locked from the outside and comes with one key. Inside is a back panel which in some of the marketing animations, Ubiquiti is suggesting a DIN rail mount could be attached.

Underneath, there are three holes and it comes with rubber grommets to feed cables through. Like some of Ubiquiti's latest cameras mounts, it has been prepared for a conduit pipe and a 40mm pipe is recommended.

The Junction Utility is available now from the official Ubiquiti store in the US for $119. It is listed in Canada for $169, but is marked as 'coming soon'. In the UK, it is £114 but is also marked as 'coming soon'.
