Ubiquiti launches new Resource Calculator for UniFi OS

Ubiquiti launches new Resource Calculator for UniFi OS

Ubiquiti has recently introduced a new planning tool for people looking to get into the world of UniFi. The ‘UniFi OS Resource Calculator’ gives customers an easy way to see how many cameras, APs and devices each UniFi OS Console can handle and which one is best to purchase.

The calculator can be found at calculator.ui.com and has every UniFi OS Console listed, from the original UDM, the UDM Pro all the way up to the brand new UDM SE.

As you add more cameras, phones, and access points the amount of CPU load and memory usage changes and lets you figure out which model is best to use for your deployment. The calculator even has a new UniFi Cloud Console, which has 16GB RAM and can handle many UniFi APs. We have reached out to Ubiquiti for a comment on this new product and will update this post accordingly.
