Ubiquiti launches new UISP Dish Mini

UISP Dish Mini

Ubiquti has recently expanded its line of outdoor point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-muilti-point (PtMP) with the new UISP Dish Mini. This follows on from the larger UISP Dish that the company launched in 2022.

Just like the UISP Dish, the Mini version uses the same WaveGuide adaptor for use with the various coax capable radios, such as the Wave MLO5, Rocket Prism 5AC, airFiber 5XHD and the LTU Rocket. The Dish Mini supports the same range of frequencies too, from 5.15GHz to 6.87GHz, meaning the upcoming Wave MLO6 should also be compatible.

In terms of other differences, the gain is slightly different, with 30dBi on the larger UISP Dish and 26dBi on the Dish Mini, but Ubiquiti still quote a 30km range on both antennas.\

Both the new UISP Dish Mini and larger UISP Dish retail for $159 in the US or £150 in the UK, with no price difference for the smaller unit. In the US,
