Ubiquiti launches new UniFi SmartPower Strip – for monitoring internet outages

Ubiquiti has launched the new SmartPower Strip, with 6 US sockets and four USB-C ports for other lower power devices. The SmartPower Strip is similar in functionality to the SmartPower Plug from Ubiquiti too, in that it’ll be able to monitor the internet connection and then reboot any hardware in case of an outage.

The SmartPower Strip works only with a USG, UDM or UDM Pro. The USG and UDM Pro need a UniFi Access Point to work too.

Ubiquiti has the SmartPower Strip up for sale on its official store in the US only for the time being. Link to the store here.
