Ubiquiti launches the new UniFi Dream Wall (UDW)

This week, Ubiquiti launched the all new UniFi Dream Wall, a wall mounted UniFi OS Console which houses a wireless access point, PoE switch, gateway, network video recorder for UniFi Protect and much more. Like the UDM Pro and UDM SE, the UDW can host UniFi Network, UniFi Protect, UID, UniFi Connect, UniFi Talk and UniFi Access.

The UDW has an integrated 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless access point, which supports 802.11ax (WiFi 6). On the bottom of the unit are all of the LAN ports, with 16GbE ports, with varying levels of PoE capability, with support for PoE (802.3af), PoE+ (802.3at) and PoE++ (802.3bt). There is also one 10GB SFP+ port for LAN. For the WAN, there is one 10GB SFP+ port and one 2.5GbE RJ45 port, which can be used for dual-WAN failover or load-balancing.

On the front is a 4.7-inch touchscreen, which can be used for management. This screen looks similar to what can be found on the AmpliFi Alien, with graphs and stats.

The new UniFi Dream Wall (UDW) is on sale now in the US, with prices starting from $999. As of writing, the UDW is not yet on sale in the EU and UK. Once it is available, this post will be updated.
