Ubiquiti releases UniFi OS 1.11.4 for UDM and UDM-Pro

Ubiquiti releases UniFi OS 1.11.4 for UDM and UDM-Pro

Ubiquiti has today released a new update for UniFi OS running on the UDM and UDM Pro, with UniFi OS version 1.11.4. Ubiquiti has said this is a rolling update, so users should see it appear in the next few days, however from the two UDM Pro units I look after, this has already showed up on both.

With this release, Ubiquiti says it has improved the way the devices handled being setup offline, as well as how reliable push notifications are sent. Also improved is the way a remote connection to the UniFi OS console is handled.

Full list of improvements

  • Improve offline setup.
  • Improve push notification stability.
  • Improve establishing a remote connection.
  • Improve internet connectivity check.
  • Upgrade Suricata to 5.0.8
  • Minor LCM fixes and improvements.

More information can be found here on the release post from community.ui.com.

You can update your UDM or UDM-Pro by going to unifi.ui.com, logging into the device, clicking the settings wheel, update and then the ‘Update to 1.11.4’ option should appear. By default, devices are set to automatically update too, but it can be disabled.
