Vauxhall Corsa-e and Mokka-e price dropped by £3,000

Vauxhall Corsa-e and Mokka-e price dropped by £3,000

Vauxhall has today responded to the Government’s actions on reducing the plug-in car grants, by reducing the list prices of its two electric cars, the Corsa-e and Mokka-e. Both models have had their prices reduced by £3,000 across the range, bringing the entry level Corsa-e down from £30,305 to £27,305 without the plug-in grant. WIth the grant it is now £25,805.

The UK Government reduced the plug-in car grant last week from £2,500 down to £1,500 and also reduced the amount of cars that are eligible for such grants too.

“Vauxhall wants to move the UK to electric motoring as quickly as possible, which is why we have committed to being an electric-only brand from 2028. In light of a further evolution to the Government Plug-in Car Grant, we’ve taken the decision to change our pricing policy on our all-electric Corsa-e and Mokka-e models.”

Paul Willcox – Vauxhall MD

Also new last week, both the Corsa-e and Mokka-e received a light update, with better range, thanks to more efficient components.
