A few months back, Vodafone started selling home broadband in the UK again after it left the market three years ago. The company returned with Connect initially in Manchester which uses the BT Openreach network as a backend. Now, Vodafone has expanded it to the rest of the county as now any customer can now sign up for home broadband with the company.
Plenty of companies are offering broadband such as EE, Virgin Media, BT, TalkTalk, O2 and more but Vodafone offers some unique services which make it unique offering a easy to use router and mobile app which is used to configure and set parental controls, similar to how Apple’s AirPort line of routers works. The app has parental controls, a feature called ‘Boost’ which gives one device a bigger share of the available bandwidth and give that device priority for two hours. Another useful feature for families is ‘Family Time’ which will monitor and limit internet usage of children.
Vodafone is offering three different plans:
1. Broadband ADSL (up to 17mbps)
- Superfast Fibre Broadband (up to 38mbps)
