watchOS 8 is now available for Apple Watch Series 3 and later

Apple has released watchOS 8 for Apple Watch this week, alongside iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and more. The update to Apple Watch this year is a relatively modest one and works on the Apple Watch Series 3 and later.

Apple has moved watchOS 8 along in the same direction as iOS 15, with Focus mode for more advanced Do Not Disturb settings, the Wallet app had new NFC based key support and the Home app now shows much more information.

Workouts for cycling will now be better and detecting when you’re using an e-bike and it’ll now remind you to start a workout in case you forget to do so.

You can update your Apple Watch from the Settings app on the watch or from the Apple Watch app on iPhone.
