Kenwood will be one of the first to include wireless on Android Auto

While Apple CarPlay has been out for a good couple of years now, Google’s Android Auto has required a bit more time to catch up, for example wireless connectivity for CarPlay has been out since iOS 10 but with Android Auto, it’s only just starting to show up now. Google did announce the support for it in the middle of 2016, but has taken till now to come into fruition.

The first hardware to launch a compatible head unit comes from JVCKenwood, the company said that they might launch such a product at CES this year, one which has full support for wireless connectivity on Android Auto.
