iMac 27-inch is seeing longer delivery times now that new redesign has been rumoured

This week it’s been rumoured that Apple will be launching a new redesigned iMac in a few weeks at WWDC and now some extra information has helped to make this seem more likely.

The iMac 27-inch now has longer delivery dates over the 21-inch model, with dates now extending to the start of July. If you ordered a new 21-inch iMac today in the UK it would turn up either tomorrow or Monday but the 27-inch says the 27th June to the 6th July.

This could point towards Apple winding down production of the 27-inch as a replacement is due in a few weeks, but if you are in the market for a new iMac and can afford to wait a few weeks it would be advised to wait, as Apple is said to be updating the processors, dropping any spinning drives and going for an all new design with much smaller bezels.

Be sure to check back to A&T Tech for all the latest on WWDC in a few weeks time!
