MG reveals pricing for the new MG 4 EV

MG has recently announced the pricing and specifications for the all new MG4 EV. The new small SUV was announced at the end of June this year and is due to go on sale in September 2022 with prices starting at £25,995.

When the car goes on sale, it’ll be available in three trim levels, SE Standard Range, SE Long Range and Trophy Long Range.

SE Standard Range

Prices start from £25,995 and for that you’ll get a 51kWh battery, a 167bhp electric motor and a WLTP range of 218 miles. Included as standard is the MG Pilot advanced driver assistance, automatic LED headlights, rear parking sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control and remote control from the MG iSmart app.

SE Long Range

Jumping up to the Long Range SE, which starts at £28,495. In this model, the range has been increased to 281 miles, with a larger 64kWh battery pack and support for faster charging at 135kW. Rapid charging is supported here, at 150kW.

Trophy Long Range

The next model up is the top of the range, the Trophy Long Range. Priced from £31,495, it has 270 miles of range from the same 64kWh battery pack found in the Long Range SE. However, there is a lot more included as standard. There is blind spot detection, lane change assist and rear cross traffic alert. Design wise, a two-tone roof and rear privacy glass are both included.

Inside, there is a full leather interior and wireless phone charging.

Performance

MG is actually yet to reveal all of the specifications for the MG4 but the 64kWh pack has 201bhp, can do 0-60mph in under eight seconds with the top speed limited to 99mph.

The new MG4 is due to go on sale in the UK from September 2022, prices starting from £25,995.
