Sportier version of the Omoda 5 is coming soon

Omoda, a brand which only debuted in the UK in the last few months has big plans for itself, as well as its sister brand Jaecoo over the next few years. In the last few months, the Omoda 5 and E5 debuted in the UK and are on sale now, but its parent company Chery has many more models coming soon.

The petrol Omoda 5 and the electric Omoda E5 are on sale now in the UK, but a more sportier GT version of the petrol Omoda 5 is being worked on, with a lot of the development work happening at its engineering base, in Frankfurt. The car will have upgrdaded suspension and changes to its interior to make it feel more GT like.

Omoda will soon have the smaller Omoda 3.and larger models with the Omoda 5 and Omoda 9 coming in the 24 months, as well as the Jaecoo J5 and J8 from its sister brand.
