Audi has taken the RS3 saloon and hatchback off sale this week in the UK, as the current levels of demand have completely outstripped what Audi can keep up with. Audi has confirmed the fact it has been removed from sale, with no concrete time frame on when it will return.

The current fourth-generation of RS3 has been on sale in the UK since 2021 and when we reached out to Audi, they confirmed the current delay is to help the company catch up with the existing back orders. Audi hasn’t yet confirmed if or when the RS3 will be back on sale.

When the fourth-generation RS3 went on sale, it was priced from £50,900 and the company has seen strong sales, with 628 units for the RS3 Sportback and 513 RS3 saloons sold in 2022 alone. For the entire A3 model lineup, Audi sold 20,797 units last year.

The RS3 has a 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine, producing 395bhp and 369lb ft of torque. 0-60mph is handled in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 174mph.
