Jaguar F-Type coming to an end with limited edition Type ZP

Jaguar has announced a new limited edition F-Type ZP, which features a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine with either 444bhp or 567bhp. The standard car is currently only available with a 296bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. Jaguar will only be making 150 examples worldwide, with only 10 available for the UK market. The name and design take some inspiration from the two ‘Project ZP’ E-Types raced at Le Mans back in the 1960s.

Jaguar is transitioning to becoming an EV only company by 2025 and the three engines used in the F-Type will be dropped next year. The other combustion models in the Jaguar lineup will also be retired, including the XE, XF, E-Pace and F-Pace.

With the Type ZP, Jaguar has added hand-painted white racing roundels on either of the doors, with some colour choices also influenced by the E-Type Project cars. These include gloss blue paint with red and black leather interior and gloss grey paint with blue and brown leather interior. You also get diamond cut 20-inch alloy wheels and a ‘One of 150’ SV Bespoke plaque.

The new ZP edition is priced from £134,925 for the coupe and from £138,390 for the convertible.
