New hybrid Omoda 5 SHS-H announced for the UK, with prices from £25,740

Omoda 5 SHS

Omoda has today announced a new full-hybrid variant of the Omoda 5 for the UK market, which joins the existing pure petrol and electric versions that have been sold here since 2024.

The new SHS-H version uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine and 1.83kWh LFP battery pack to offer more than 650 miles of range and offers up to 53mpg. This system combined makes 201bhp and can achieve 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds.

In terms of other changes, the Omoda 5 SHS-H has the same design as the existing lineup, which was lightly facelifted for 2026 with a new front bumper and grille design as well as new alloy wheel designs.

The new Omoda 5 SHS-H comes in two trim levels, either Knight and Noble with a generous amount of equipment offered as standard, such as two 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice control and more.

Jumping up to the Noble adds a surround-view camera, eight speaker Sony system, ambient lighting and heated and ventilated front seats.

Prices start at £25,740 for the Knight and then at £29,240 for the Noble. Customers can order the Omoda 5 SHS-H starting in March 2026.
