A full Gmail redesign is coming soon to the web

Very soon, Google will be rolling out a new design for Gmail on the web and for people who dislike change this could be an issue, as Gmail is arguably one of the most popular web clients for email. The new design will be here in a few weeks, but G Suite customers were the first to hear about the change, via an email to preempt any burning issues and to answer any questions too.

G Suite Admins can then know what is happening, just before the Early Adopter release goes live.

What’s changing?

So far, we don’t actually know what Google is planning on changing for the design of Gmail, but we can be sure that it will be based around Material Design (Google’s own design language) and possibly take cues from the look of Inbox.

Google have said that the new Gmail design will come “in the coming weeks.”
