Apple Roadside Assistance via Satellite now available in the UK

Apple has been busy expanding its satellite services offering for a while now. What started as a way to get help in an emergency without phone service, it has since expanded to offer iMessage support, Find My and more recently, assistance at the roadside. In the US, it works with AAA or Verizon as that carrier is offering its own roadside assistance service and in the UK, it works with Green Flag.

You have never been able to make phone calls with this service, due to bandwidth limitations but Apple has come up with pre-filled issues you can select, such as being locked out of your car, no fuel or charge in the car, flat tire and more.

In the UK, Apple has partnered with Green Flag and it'll be available to members and non-members, although non-members will be charged on a pay-per-use basis. No pricing for this has been revealed yet, but we have reached out to Green Flag for any indication on this, once they respond we will update this post.

Apple offers its satellite services free for the first two years of an iPhone 14 or later.
