Apple announces media event ‘Peek Performance’ on 8th March

Apple has this afternoon announced a new media event taking place next week on 8th March, the event titled ‘Peek Performance’ will take place at the usual time of 10:00am Pacific Time (6pm UK time) and will once again be conducted remotely with no in person guests, as Apple did in 2020 and 2021. Apple has likely already pre-recorded it and it’ll be taking place from the Steve Jobs Theatre within the Apple Park.

Apple is expected to release new third generation iPhone SE, new updated iPad Air as well as some updated Mac models. The iPhone SE hasn’t been updated since March 2020, so it’ll be interesting to see what Apple does there. Same goes for the iPad Air, itself seeing a very large refresh back at the end of 2020, it will likely follow the iPad mini 6th generation, with the A15 chip and some cameras improvements.

In terms of Macs, Apple is expected to launch a new Mac mini with new design and potentially featuring the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips from the latest MacBook Pro models.

Apple will be live streaming the event on YouTube, apple.com and via the Apple TV app. We’ll be providing live coverage of the event on our the interface live Twitter account. Join us then!
