Apple employees will start to go back to the office in September

Apple employees will start to go back to the office in September

For the parts of the world that can, we have been working from home since March 2020. As restrictions in certain places begin to be relaxed, some larger tech companies are starting to evaluate how they manage working from home going forward and what the transition to the office looks like. Twitter said last May that it would allow its employees to work from home full time going forward and other companies joined in that.

However, some companies need the face to face collaboration and Apple is one of those and CEO, Tim Cook has sent an internal email to all employees saying that the return to the office would start again in September with a three day policy in place at a minimum. Apple employees will need to come to the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with the option of going back home on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Tim Cook has said this initial change is a “pilot” and that more changes could happen in 2022 and those will be evaluated at that time.
