Apple is now offering a longer 3 metre Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable for $159

Apple this week started offering a new longer Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable for use with the new Studio Display which provides a much longer version than the standard lead that Apple includes with the display itself. The cable comes in at $159 in the US and is also joined by a 1.8 metre version, which costs $129.

The Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable supports Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and USB 4 with speeds of up to 40Gb/s. It is also capable of DisplayPort video output and USB-C Power Delivery at up to 100W.

Like any other Thunderbolt 4 cable, it can be used for anything, including USB-C, hard drives, power and more.
