Apple TV app coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X next week

Just last month, it was announced that the Apple TV app would be soon available on Sony PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and now today, Microsoft has announced that the Apple TV app will be available on the Xbox One line and the new Series S and X next week. The Apple TV app provides access to Apple TV+ content, Apple TV channels and purchased content from iTunes.

The Apple TV app was rumoured to come to the Xbox soon.

The Apple TV app on the Apple TV works different to how it works on third party platforms, on Apple TV the app tracks what you watch, from Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer etc as well as Apple TV+ and iTunes films and TV Shows. On third party platforms, it only allows access to Apple content.

Learn more see our guide here about Apple TV+ and the Apple TV app.

The Apple TV app is already available on Samsung, Sony, LG, and Vizio smart TVs, and it is will be launching on the PS4 and PS5 on 12th November and on the Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X next week on 10th November.
