Apple will be providing extra free trial time for Apple TV+ subscribers

According to Rene Ritchie on Twitter, Apple will be providing extra free trial time for current subscribers of Apple TV+. The service launched last year on 1st November and to go alongside the launch, Apple started offering a free 1 year trial of the service and that offer is actually still on as of today. If you purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch the free trial is included.

For those who registered in November will now get three months extra free, totalling 15 months of the trial when it ends in February. For those who signed up last year at the very start will now get an extra three months of trail up until 1st February 2021.

This extra three months doesn’t just apply to subscribers who joined last year, it applies to everyone who joined between November 2019 and January 2019. Once the free trial ends, the monthly payment of £4.99 UK / $4.99 US will continue afterwards, unless canceled. Those who signed up for a free trail with a new Apple device after January 2019 will only receive 12 months.
