Apple’s iTunes Connect will shutdown from December 23-27

Apple’s iTunes Connect will shutdown from December 23-27

Every year, Apple shuts down iTunes connect for a number of days over the Christmas holiday period and this year is now exception as the company has annoyed that they won’t be approving and new apps and app updates from December 23rd to December 27th.

Apple Quote:

The busiest season on the App Store is almost here. Make sure your apps are up-to-date and ready for the winter holidays. New apps and app updates will not be accepted December 23 to 27 (Pacific Time), so any releases should be submitted, approved and scheduled in advance.

However this doesn’t mean that iTunes Connect will be unavailable – the service will still remain live to log into and check stats, useful on Christmas Day when everyone receives new devices.

What is iTunes Connect?

For those who don’t know, iTunes Connect is the service which music producers, app developers and Apple News publishers use to manage the content they publish on iTunes and the App Store.
