Aston Martin announces new V12 Vantage with 690bhp

Aston Martin has today revealed the new V12 Vantage, which will be the last one the company will ever produce. This is now the third and final V12 Vantage planned, with only 333 examples to be produced.

The V12 Vantage offers much more performance over the standard V8 car, with a starting price of £265,000. This is around £123,000 more than the V8 Vantage F1 Edition.

Aston Martin is using the same 5.2-litre V12 found in the current DB11 and DBS, however in the Vantage it has been tuned specially and produces 690bhp, 555lb ft torque and can do 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 200mph. Aston is offering an eight-speed automatic gearbox here, with no manual option.

Inside, Aston has changed out the standard seats for carbonfibre, saving 7.3kg – other than that, the interior is largely unchanged.
