CES 2015 – Samsung launch new high-tech washing machine

CES 2015 – Samsung launch new high-tech washing machine

CES is usually a time where new TVs, wearable fitness gadgets, Internet of Things devices, drones, virtual reality and more get launched. But Samsung hasn’t forgotten that simple gadgets matter to consumers. Samsung has launched a new washing machine, which comes included with a built in sink. Samsung is better known for making the Galaxy smartphone range and Galaxy Tab tablets. But Samsung decided to take their new washing machine to CES.

While this addition may seem minor, having the addition of a sink in a washing machine could make a big difference to washing delicate clothing, items such as lace clothing and wool jumpers. Delicate items usually benefit from being hand washed. The Active Wash is also fitted with water jets and textured specialised surfaces to help scrub out some stubborn stains.

The actual price of the Active Wash is not yet known, but it will be available this spring in white and platinum finishes.
