Citroën is going to stop making the Grand C4 Spacetourer

Citroën is stopping production of the Grand C4 Spacetourer MPV in a few months time, the change comes as customer buying habits change and SUV popularity increases. The company will be putting more focus on its range of SUVs going forward.

Citroën has already stopped selling the Grand C4 Spacetourer here in the UK earlier in April, but there are still a number of open orders left for the company to fulfil before the factory in Vigo, Spain can wind down. Citroën says there are still 439 outstanding orders to process.

“The Grand C4 Spacetourer offered customers an attractive and modern design and has earned a reputation for its unrivalled comfort, internal versatility and space, as well as its exemplary modularity and light cabin, thanks to the long windscreen and panoramic glass roof. Its popularity is demonstrated by the number of orders due to be fulfilled before the end of production in July.”

Going forward, Citroën has said it’ll be focusing on its SUV range with a the new C5 Aircross being refreshed earlier this year.
